Operator and scope
DMSH Privacy is a service of SUMMER MIDNIGHT INC., an Illinois corporation. The service covers registered physical devices delivered within the United States. Online accounts and cloud copies are outside its scope. These terms describe the service offered for review; this private website does not activate paid membership or authorize device treatment.
Your instructions
Provide accurate device, contact, recipient, and access information, and update it when it changes. Choose the treatment and destruction fallback for each device. Changes require a new instruction packet and signature. A recipient designation is a delivery instruction, not a determination of inheritance or legal ownership.
Verification before action
A report of death, incapacity, or non-response starts a review. A report, missed check-in, payment, or signature alone does not trigger treatment. We require verified authority, supporting evidence, delivery of the identified device, and documented written authorization before treatment.
Failed access and destruction
If a passcode fails or is unavailable, the default action is full reset / deletion. If that cannot be completed, physical destruction is the protective fallback only when the member has not opted out in advance. If the member has opted out, we hold the device without destruction until an authorized resolution is documented. All actions require verified authority and the recorded instructions.
Irreversible actions and authorized transfers
Deletion and physical destruction are irreversible. We do not promise recovery of data. Device contents remain on the device except for selected-data transfers explicitly authorized by the client. Transfer instructions must identify the selected data and intended recipient.
Membership and refunds
You may cancel automatic renewal at any time. When you request cancellation with a refund, we refund the amount paid for the current coverage period minus the prorated amount for coverage already provided. Proration uses the actual length of that paid coverage period; coverage ends on the effective cancellation date. Turning off renewal alone leaves coverage active through the paid period. See Cancellation & Refunds for calculation and request details.
